Bahrain All Share Index, Islamic Index close higher

Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,980.16 points, marking an increase of 9.17 points above the previous closing.



This increase was due to the rise in the communications services sector, the financial sector, the industrial sector and the material sector.



Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 824.62 points, marking an increase of 4.06 points above the previous closing.



Results indicated that 81 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,075,388 worth BD 686,292.



Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 61.66% of the total value of securities traded.
