Saudi Stock Market Index Closes Lower at 11,867 Points

The Saudi Stock Exchange main index closed today down 32.93 points to close at 11867.37 points, with trades worth 5.4 billion Saudi riyals.

The volume of traded shares - according to the Saudi Press Agency's daily economic bulletin for the Saudi Stock Exchange - amounted to 538 million shares, in which the shares of 65 companies recorded an increase in their value, while the shares of 160 companies closed down.

The shares of Al Baha, Riyadh Cement, Rasan, Paper Industry, and Sedco Capital REIT were the most rising, while the shares of Fish, Saico, Medgulf Insurance, Al Babtain, and Saudi Re were the most declining in trading, as the rates of increase and decrease ranged between 5.88% and 5.33%.

The shares of Al Baha, Anaam Holding, Shams, Saudi Aramco, and Fish were the most active in terms of quantity, while the shares of Al Ahli, Saudi Aramco, Maaden, Al Rajhi, and Fish were the most active in terms of quantity.
The Saudi Parallel Stock Index (Nomu) closed today down 36.02 points to close at 25,733.93 points, with trades worth 32 million Saudi riyals, and the volume of traded shares exceeded one million shares.
