Before founding SIGMA Capital, Marwan was one of the founding partners at EFG-Hermes where he held several positions across multiple divisions,
last of which was Managing Director. Prior to EFG-Hermes, Marwan worked in the British capital markets, which provided him with international exposure.
Tamer Gamal joined SIGMA Securities and Bonds Brokerage as Managing Director in 2022. With a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering (1996),
he joined the financial markets industry in 1998 through equity / currency trading and private portfolio management.
Tamer holds a Degree in Investment Analysis – London Securities & Investment Institute (2009), He is a certified financial technician (CFTe) and a certified ESTA technician (CETA).
In 2008, he was awarded the “Bronwen Wood Memorial Award” by The International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) for best worldwide achievement for 2008.
In 2011 Tamer was elected as Chairman of Egyptian Society of Technical analysts (ESTA) board of directors, following three years as a member of BoD
Tamer was unanimously elected by IFTA BoD as vice president responsible for MENA region,
where he contributed to IFTA/TA education & growth throughout the region in several countries;
United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa. In 2021 once again unanimously elected by IFTA BoD as board director responsible for digital transformation.
Ahmed Halawany is the Executive Director for Private Equity at Kingdom Holding, one of the largest private investment companies in the world.
Prior to his current position, he has served as Executive Director for Al-Azizia Commercial Investments, one of Kingdom Holdings' companies.
His previous work experiences include the World Bank as well as Procter and Gamble. Halawany is an alumnus of the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
